There have been a few reports about a coyote spotted around the downtown area in Huntsville.
The Ministry of Natural Resources says it’s very common to see these animals in rural areas. Changes in land use, weather and supplemental feeding with food shortages are all reasons why they may be spotted.
Residents are also reminded to secure garbage to prevent coyotes and any other wild life such as bears or raccoon’s.
