Oldtimers Food Drive brings in over 15,000 pounds of food in Bracebridge

The Oldtimers Food Drive in Bracebridge has broken a record again.

This year, the food drive brought in over 15,000 pounds of food, which is 1,000 more than last year. Organizer Rob Fraser says this is all thanks to the hard work of the over 100 volunteers that took part. He says volunteers canvassed Bracebridge neighbourhoods and spent their Tuesday evening sorting and packing the donations for the Manna Food Bank at the fairgrounds.

Fraser says they also collected over $4,000 in cash donations, which will be used to stock shelves at the food bank.
