Beach closure in Gravenhurst could last through next week

A substance spill at the Gull Lake Rotary Park Beach could keep the area closed for a while.
Gravenhurst officials say the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change has been contacted to test the water after the spill was discovered this morning. Town officials say the beach closure could stretch well into next week while they wait for the results. Reports suggest the spill may be gas or oil, but nothing has been verified at this point.
