Tylor’s Toy Drive is honouring a late Huntsville Public School student

A toy drive in memory of a late Huntsville Public School student is underway. Tylor McKinnon-Smith was killed this summer, while doing maintenance work on his car.

His mother, Liz Smith, has now created Tylor’s Toy Drive, to honour her son. She says the idea was sparked to help their family get through the holiday season.

The drive is going on until the 20th, and donations of new, unwrapped toys can be made at Huntsville Public School. Cash donations are also accepted, which will then go into buying gift cards to help families with Christmas dinner. There is also going to be a gift-wrapping day at Huntsville Place Mall on December 16th.

All of the donations will go to Huntsville families and kids in need over the holiday season.
