The shareholders of Lakeland Holding Limited and the Parry Sound Hydro Corporation will be finalizing the merger of their electricity distribution, generation and energy operations. The signing ceremony, featuring the mayors of the affected municipalities, will be held at the Young at Heart Seniors Centre in Burk’s Falls at 1pm on Friday, May 23rd. The merger will take affect on July 1st and will effect Bracebridge, Huntsville, Sundridge, Burk’s Falls and Magnetawan.
