The work on Winewood Ave. in Gravenhurst will resume on April 29 and will cause the road to be completely closed from 7 a.m. on May 6 to 5 p.m. on May 9.
The District of Muskoka says Bracebridge, Ont.-based Fowler Construction will “complete paving and final touches” for the project.
The closure will see Winewood blocked off between Bethune Dr. and Muskoka Beach Rd. while there will be ongoing temporary single-lane closures between Muskoka Rd. N. and Muskoka Beach Rd. while that section is being repaved.
The district says detour signage will be in place and emergency vehicles will have access throughout the work. They say there won’t be any delays with waste collections or other service interruptions.
The job will see the road repaved between Muskoka Beach Rd. and Bethune Dr. N. and Muskoka Rd. N. and Bethrune Dr. N. as well as sidewalk repairs at the Muskoka Beach Rd. intersection and other final touches.
The district says the work will be done by the end of May.
