Tri-regional roundtable tariff discussion being hosted in Bracebridge

Business leaders, policymakers, and economic experts from across Parry Sound, Almaguin and Muskoka are encouraged to attend a tri-regional roundtable discussion on July 16.

Officials say the conversation will focus on trade policies, tariffs and economic stability.

Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli, who serves as the Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, and Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP Graydon Smith, Associate Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, will be part the discussion.

“Following the first roundtable, it became clear there was an appetite for continued dialogue and action on trade challenges affecting our communities,” said District of Muskoka Chair Jeff Lehman. “This roundtable will build on that momentum, providing a platform to share insights and collaborate on tangible next steps.”

The event will be held at the District of Muskoka Council Chambers in Bracebridge from 6 to 8 p.m.

Officials say those who attend will gain insight into how recent federal decisions may affect local businesses, learn practical strategies to adapt to shifting trade and economic realities, and participate in shaping regional solutions.
