A Dwight resident was treated for smoke inhalation after an electrical fire on Thursday.
According to the Huntsville Lake of Bays Fire Department, firefighters responded to a detached garage on Spring Lake Road around 7:45 p.m. Officials say they discovered a small fire in an electrical outlet box where a space heater was plugged in.
The department says electricity was quickly cut off and the fire extinguished, with total damage estimated at less than $1,000. Officials add one person was taken to the Huntsville Hospital for smoke inhalation and is now recovering at home.
