There may be smoke coming from the Bracebridge Fire Department’s headquarters at 225 Taylor Rd., but there is no cause for concern.
Officials with the Town of Bracebridge say the department will be training on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28.
The Ontario Fire College’s mobile training unit will be stationed at Fire Station 1. Officials explain the unit uses real flames, thick smoke, and other features that firefighters may deal with when responding to a call.
The training session is not open to the public.
