Two charged with shoplifting in Bracebridge 

Police have arrested two people for shoplifting from a Bracebridge home improvement store. 

According to Bracebridge OPP, officers were dispatched to the store on Depot Drive at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday after an off-duty officer noticed two men acting suspiciously. 

Officials say the pair left with a “considerable amount of stolen goods,” which were recovered by employees. 

A 52-year-old and 20-year-old, both from Mississauga, were charged with theft under $5,000 and have a court date on April 30.
