One person has ‘life-altering injuries’ after Bracebridge crash

A 36-year-old from Bracebridge was airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital with what Provincial Const. Samantha Bigley describes as “life-altering injuries.”

She explains the single-vehicle crash happened on Dec. 28 around 2 a.m. on Matthiasville Rd. There was no one else in the car.

Bigley says police were supported at the scene by Muskoka Paramedic Services and the Bracebridge Fire Department.

Matthiasville was closed while police investigated but it has since re-opened.

Bigley asks anyone with information about what happened to call the Bracebridge OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
