Students from Gravenhurst High School will be building the Town of Gravenhurst brick-by-brick or rather block-by-block in Minecraft.
The Network in Gravenhurst has partnered with high school teachers to offer an innovative new way of learning and problem solving using the popular video game.
Executive Director Graham Porter says they’re starting with a 12-week period after school, attempting to build a large portion of the town.
Porter says students were selected after the idea was presented at the high school in an information night.
He says once the town is completely finished they will use a 3D printer at the office to bring the Minecraft structure into the real world.
