Bracebridge council concerned over road resurfacing

Bracebridge council is concerned about a resurfacing project that is planned to take place early this year.
The town had planned to repave McCrank and Westvale Drive as well as a few other streets in that area.
The District of Muskoka then began planning a new sewage project in these areas to coincide with the repaving.
However, now that the sewage project has been pushed back to square one, council is concerned the new paving may be wasted.
Many councillors voiced their concerns that the repaving would be done and then torn up at a later date if the sewage project finally pushes through.
This would force the town to repave again once the sewage installation is finalized.
At this point the sewage project has been sent back to district council to decide what should happen next.
