The snow squalls are back in Parry Sound and Muskoka. Early this morning, Environment Canada re-issued a snow squall warning for Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Parry Sound, Huntsville, Port Carling and Port Severn. Westerly winds in the wake of a low pressure system are generating snow squalls over the open waters of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay with local snowfall amounts of 10 to 15cm possible over 12 hours. The snow squalls will begin moving south of the area this afternoon. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations and drivers should prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
