Huntsville OPP seize $30,000 in cocaine, cash

Two men are facing a list of charges, including trafficking, after a drug bust in Huntsville.

The OPP says officers were investigating the pair yesterday. At around 1:35pm the first man was arrested and the OPP says two ounces of crack cocaine was found in his vehicle. About two hours later the second man was arrested at the hotel they were staying at.

Later that evening officers searched that room and the OPP says it turned up about eight ounces of crack cocaine, $1,365 in Canadian money, and two loaded handguns with prohibited magazines. The total street value of the cocaine and the currency seized is over $30,000.

Daniel Julius Robinson, 26-years-old, has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and 16 weapons charges related to the handguns.

Jake Robert Small, 25-years-old, has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, eight weapons charges related to the handguns and three counts of breaking probation.

Both men are from Scarborough.
