Two arrested for series of Baysville break and enters

A series of break and enters in the Baysville area has resulted in the OPP arresting two youths.

Huntsville OPP was notified on the evening of February 2nd of a home being broken into. As the investigation into that crime proceeded it was revealed that up to seven homes had been broken into. Police are quick to point out there could be others that have not been detected yet.

The two youths are charged with seven counts each of Break and Enter, three counts of trespassing at night, one count of mischief over $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000 and theft of a motor vehicle.

Police want to remind residents that if you witness a crime in progress to call 911. They also advise to make your home less of a target through improved lighting, video systems, and alarms.
