23 year old woman hospitalized following crash on 118 West

Bracebridge OPP report the highway is now open after a crash sent a woman to hospital this evening on Highway 118 West near Leonard Lake. The motorist had swerved to miss wildlife – speculation is it was a moose. The vehicle hit a rockcut and ended back on the roadway where it was hit by another westbound vehicle. The woman was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. Police continue to investigate.
