RCMP: no link between Ottawa shootings and hit and run in Montreal

The R-C-M-P is announcing they have found no link between the shootings at Parliament Hill and the tragic hit and run earlier this week in Montreal.  R-C-M-P Commissioner Bob Paulson is confirming Michael Zehaf-Bibeau acted alone and there are no other suspects.  Paulson says Zehaf-Bibeau was not one of the 90 high-risk travellers on the R-C-M-P watch-list.  He says the shooter may have had extremist views.  Zehaf-Bibeau has been in the Ottawa since October 2^nd to deal with a passport issue.  He had plans to go to Syria.  Paulson says there is no longer an immediate threat to Canadians.  Increased security measures are in place as they investigation continues.
