Police using public tips to make an arrest in Gravenhurst fraud investigation

Police are thanking the public for helping with a fraud investigation in Gravenhurst.

Bracebridge OPP put out a call on Tuesday for help to track down a suspect after a woman used a fake prescription to collect Fentanyl patches from a Gravenhurst pharmacy. Using a public tip, officers were able to make an arrest in the investigation. A 31-year-old Brampton woman is facing fraud charges.

She’s in court in Bracebridge today for a bail hearing.
