A number of donor deferrals have Canadian Blood Services looking for more donations later this month. CBS was in Gravenhurst on Tuesday, and although 65 people attended the clinic, only 44 ended up donating.
Territory Manager Elaine St. Pierre says those 21 people were deferred for a number of different reasons.
She says precautions are put in place to protect donors and recipients.
St. Pierre says the clinic on the 29th in Bracebridge is only about 70 per cent booked right now.
