If you have a child turning four this year, now is the time to sign up for Kindergarten. Registration for next school year is open, and parents can sign their kids up online for the first time. The Trillium Lakelands District School Board says students will discover how to learn co-operatively with others, and use play as a way of learning. TLDSB says teachers spend time with the class as a whole, as well as individual time with students. Classrooms are equipped with activity centres, artwork, toys, and books.
To register you’ll need proof of age, contact information for your family doctor, immunization records, and a 911 address. You can go to the TLDSB website to register your child.
