A fourth person has put his name in the race to run for Wards 3,4 and 5 in Huntsville. Jason Fitzgerald says he is looking forward to this opportunity to represent these wards as there are many issues he would like to focus on at a council level.

Fitzgerald has been a volunteer in this community for many years, especially with the Lions Club. He says it’s always been a goal of his to earn a seat on council and represent his neighbours.

Fitzgerald is up against Gordan Haig, Det Schumacher and Karen Insley. However, only two will be elected on October 27th to represent Stisted, Stephenson and Port Sydney. The deadline to submit nominations is at 2pm.
