Local softball team brings home consolation championship

The Brian Veitch Construction Peewee Bandits brought home the consolation championship from the Lake Simcoe Softball Tournament yesterday. They won hard fought games against Grimsby and Keswick but lost to Stouffville. The Bandits then moved to the consolation final where they defeated Topham. Highlights included a grand slam from Matthew Reynolds and strong hitting from the whole team.
