One person is dead and two others are in hospital with life threatening injuries after two separate fires erupted in Seguin.  Both the Seguin and Parry Sound Fire Departments were called to a house fire on James Bay Junction Road around 5:30am, Sunday, along with EMS and West Parry Sound OPP.

One person was found inside the home and pronounced dead on the scene, while two others were taken to West Parry Sound Health Centre with life-threatening injuries.  The name of the deceased has yet to be released.  It was the second fire of the day attended by emergency services as they were called to a blaze just before 4:00am at a vacant business on Oastler Park Drive.  The police are helping the Fire Marshall’s office to find the cause of both fires.
