The GHS Gryphons had a great start to 2017 with a recent playoff.
On January 13th, the junior boys basketball team travelled to the Renfrew/Armprior Basketball Tournament.
Facing the host school in the first game, the team won 58-40.
The Gryphons continued with two more wins to make it into the championship game against Perth.
While the Gryphons came in second with a loss to Perth, the coaches are applauding the hard work and positive attitude the boys had.
The Gryphons face off against Huntsville in regular season action on January 24th at 3:30pm.
