If you thought you’d seen the last of the heavy snowfall for now, think again.
Environment Canada is once again suggesting we’re going to see some heavy snow squalls starting this morning in Muskoka.
The weather service has released a snow squall warning for the region and is suggesting we’ll see another 10 to 15 centimetres hit the region by tonight.
But that’s not all, the temperature is expected to get above the freezing mark Tuesday night and as it does, it is expected to change that snow to rain.
As highway conditions may already be affected by the amount of snowfall during the day, we’ll likely see a messy mix of slushy slippery conditions moving into the night.
Officials caution drivers to watch for these conditions, drive according to them and maybe reschedule travel plans.
