Ontario Government recognizes the community involvement of two Bracebridge residents

Two Bracebridge residents are being recognized to their long-term contributions to the community and the province.
Tomorrow, Ontario’s Lieutenant Governor will present the Medal for Good Citizenship to 19 recipients from across the province.
One of those recipients is Bracebridge resident Diana MacDonald.
MacDonald is being recognized for her work as a mentor to children in the community, through volunteering with Scouts Canada and teaching Sunday School.
Officials are also recognizing resident Murray Jibb, however they say he will be invested at a later date and the details of his nomination have not been released.
The ceremony will kick off at Queen’s Park in Toronto.
