Velvet the pony helping the OSCPA raise some funds

A pony from Huntsville is helping the Ontario SPCA raise money this holiday season. Spokesperson for the SPCA, Kallie Milleman, says Velvet the pony was surrendered to them while pregnant, and is now working in equine assisted therapy in Huntsville.

She says not only has Velvet gone through a journey herself, but now she is giving back. The SPCA has a variety of plush toys for sale on their website, which come with an adoption certificate.

The proceeds from those stuffed animals will go back into helping other animals, with things like vet care and shelter. Go to the Paws and Give website to check out the plush toys.
