YWCA Muskoka has launched the Girlz Unplugged 100 Campaign, to give 170 local girls the chance to develop their self-esteem.
The Girlz Unplugged campaign is the longest running girls program in Canada.
To date, the campaign has given over 2,000 girls the chance to develop confidence while finding out about health relationships, body images, gender stereotypes, and the importance of being media savvy.
The YWCA is looking for donation to help make the program happen this year, as it costs about $300 per girl to attend.
