Gravenhurst Opera House attracts more attention from outside the community

Things are winding down at the Gravenhurst Opera House, but management is celebrating a banner year.
This is the second year the Opera House has offered summer theatre productions and Manager of Arts and Culture Krista Storey says it was definitely a good one.
Storey says the theatre seems to be attracting more attention from outside of the Gravenhurst region.
She says they’re already gearing up for 2017 with an all-Canadian line up of productions to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday.
After the season ends just before October, Storey will present a comprehensive break down of ticket sales and other details to Gravenhurst council.
You still have some time to check out the final production for this season ‘Wake Me Up When It’s Over!’ which runs until September 30th.
