Buying a Smile Cookie at Tim Hortons in Muskoka will do more than give you a smile.
Donations collected from the campaign this year will go towards Hospice Muskoka, a volunteer-based program that provides palliative care services across the region.
Executive Director Sandra Winspear says the not-for-profit organization relies on donations to continue running.
Winspear says there are various expenses that rely on these donations like the grief and bereavement program for all ages.
Last year, the organization received nearly $5,000 from the one-week campaign at both Bracebridge Tim Hortons locations.
The organization is also always looking for volunteers.
