New Tecumseth woman arrested after failing to appear in Bracebridge court

A New Tecumseth woman will be staying in jail waiting on her next court date.  Ashley Rattray was denied bail after being arrested for failing to show up for a court date mid-August.  Rattray faces a slew of charges after being arrested in July with convicted Hunstville rapist Steven Yearley for allegedly stealing a car.  Rattray stayed in the car while Yearley took off but was soon caught.   Some of Rattray’s charges include six counts of possession of stolen property, theft under five thousand, two counts of obstructing a peace officer and possession of a break-in instrument.  Rattray also has outstanding charges in Toronto.
