Ace Bailey’s Maple Leafs Banner Officially Hanging in Bracebridge

A part of Toronto Maple Leafs history is now inside the Memorial Arena in Bracebridge.

On Friday afternoon, the Toronto Maple Leafs delivered the iconic number six banner of Ace Bailey to his hometown of Bracebridge. The Bracebridge resident played eight seasons with the Leafs from 1926 to 1934. He passed away in 1992.

The banner was returned to celebrate the hockey clubs 100th season.

Bracebridge Mayor Graydon Smith says this is just another great athlete coming out of Muskoka to inspire the youth in athletics.

There will be a new Ace Bailey banner hanging high at the Air Canada Centre this season.
