A Muskoka conservancy organization is working hard to bring the spotlight on saving turtles.
Saving Turtles at Risk Today has partnered with the Canadian Wildlife Federation to run the Muskoka Turtle Blitz.
The event is interactive and gives education on how to make a difference for turtles in our community.
START will host the event Johnston’s Cranberry Marsh and Muskoka Lakes Winery in Bala on July 24th from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
Anyone interested in participating should wear light clothes, water shoes and hats.
