Orillia man facing child pornography and medal misuse charges gets bail

An Orillia man who allegedly wore military medals in public that were not his and accessed child pornography has been released on bail.

Clayton Donoghue, 62, was arrested on May 16th after police followed up on a complaint from military and legion officials that he was attending events wearing medals that weren’t his.

Police had searched his home and a storage locker and discovered materials related to accessing and keeping child pornography.

Donoghue will make his next court appearance in Orillia on June 28th.
