The final steps are being taken in preparing to replace the old Stephenson Road 1 bridge between Bracebridge and Huntsville.
On Tuesday morning, Bracebridge council agreed on a resolution to award the contract for the major construction project to All Services Inc.
The final approval will need to be made during the next council meeting on May 25th, and it is all contingent on Huntsville agreeing to cover their half of the cost in the project.
Altogether the project cost is about $1.3 million, which will be split in half between the two municipalities.
