The Township of Muskoka Lakes is hoping to work on the long-term management of the Muskoka Watershed.
A flood warning for the town and surrounding area has been in effect for over a week.
Muskoka Lakes Mayor Don Furniss says they are in conversation with the Ministry of Natural Resources to come up with a plan on how to manage water levels in flood-prone areas.
The flood warning remains in effect until the end of the day.
