The District of Muskoka will be conducting watermain flushes in Gravenhurst over the next few months.
Starting on April 25th, district officials will be utilizing hydrants in town to flush the lines.
Officials say this improves quality and service of the water system as well as ensuring hydrants function propery.
This work will go on until July 1st, and during this time, town officials suggest checking the water daily for rust.

If cloudy or brown water appears, just run turn on your cold until it runs clear.
The water will be safe to drink, but can stain clothes and dishes if cloudy.
