MPP Miller honours MP Clement’s step-father in Legislature

A tribute to our MP’s late step-father has been made in the Ontario Legislature.

John T. Clement, the step-father of Parry Sound-Muskoka MP Tony Clement, served as the MPP for the riding of Niagara Falls from 1971 to 1975 and held the role of Attorney General of Ontario.

Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP Norm Miller stood in the legislature before the first Question Period of 2016 yesterday morning, to honour former MPP Clement on behalf of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party.

Tony Clement and his family were in attendance for the tribute.

Legislative tributes are scheduled periodically throughout a session and allow each party of the legislature five minutes to pay tribute to former Ontario Members of Provincial Parliament who have passed away.

John T. Clement passed away in June of 2014.
