The Table Soup Kitchen Foundation has received a large donation from a business in town.
A cheque was presented to Heather Berg and the foundation for $10,000 by Canadian Tire Huntsville. The money comes from the store and their promotions during Christmas time. Owner Ken Moser says his team are always delighted to help a local organization.
Moser says the amount raised matches previous year’s numbers.
Some of the $10,000 came from the Farmer’s Market that sets up in the parking lot in the summer.
He says they have supported the Table Soup Kitchen Foundation for several years and will continue that trend.
