It was a special day for many cancer survivors and family members affected by cancer in Muskoka.
The annual CIBC Run for the Cure Muskoka started off with the threat of rain and a chilly morning, but runners seemed in good spirits as the event kicked off.
One runner told Moose FM their team is running in support of his mother, a survivor of breast cancer.
Over 100 people were gathered to show their support and had raised funds for the Breast Cancer Society of Canada.
