Cowie is running against incumbent Conservative Tony Clement, NDP Matt McCarthy, Green Glen Hodgson, Marxist-Leninist candidate Albert Gray Smith, Pirate Duncan Bell and Canada Action Gordie Merton.
The election is set for October 19th.
