The Bracebridge Phantoms hockey team is no more. The team’s owner Gord Carey has announced the team is leaving the Greater Metro Hockey League for a new beginning with the Canadian International Hockey League. We asked Carey why he chose to leave.

The team will continue under the new league. Carey says the public will be asked to suggest new names for the team in the future.
