A new youth organization is starting up in Muskoka. Area Director Brad Rose says Young Life is an international organization with chapters in almost 100 countries. He says it’s run by staff and volunteers.
Rose says this is the first year for the organization.
Young Life is a mobile organization taking part in activities that interests the youth of our community.
They are currently fundraising to get their official start in September.
There is a Steve Bell concert happening tonight at the Rene Caisse Theatre. All the proceeds from ticket sales are going towards this organization.
You can still get tickets at Faith Baptist Church in Huntsville, Harvest Muskoka in Port Sydney, Pinegrove Baptist in Bracebridge and Calvary Baptist in Gravenhurst. Steve Bell will also be at the annual Mayors of Muskoka Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, May 2 at 8 a.m. at the Grandview Golf Club in Huntsville.
