Load restrictions in effect across the District

Load restrictions are in effect across Muskoka. During the spring thaw, some roads can’t withstand heavy vehicle loads, so to make sure they are protected, Gravenhurst, Bracebridge and Huntsville have put a weight restriction of 5 tonnes per axel on the roads. The load restrictions are in place until May 31^st. For a list of roads that are exempt from the restrictions, visit your Town’s website.
