The Town of Huntsville is going ahead with installing finger extensions to the Town Dock. Mayor Claude Doughty says it’s going to be great for local boaters and make boat parking much simpler.

Huron District Contracting has been contracted to do the work, which is the same company that worked on the main dock repair. Doughty also says these extensions will be floating.

It’s going to cost a little over $33,000 to complete the work. Construction crews will install the new extensions the week of June 23rd, just in time for the Canada Day Long Weekend.
