THIS JUST IN: Justin Primmer remanded in custody until January 21st

Convicted killer Justin Primmer will be held in custody until his next court appearance on January 21st where he’ll face charges of assault and breaching probation. He was in Bracebridge court this morning for a bail appearance. The judge in the case has ordered a publication ban covering the identity of his alleged victim and another person named in court documents. Primmer was convicted in the stabbing death of a Stratford area man Bill ‘Bonesy’ Welch in 2003 and the assault of Desiree Gallagher in 2013. He was put on probation in October and had since moved to Huntsville. Police there charged him this week after they learned of an assault that took place in early January. His next appearance will be in Bracebridge court.
