Keurig recalls 7 million coffee brewing machines over safety concerns

Keurig has recalled about seven million single-serve coffee machines sold in the US and Canada between 2009 and last July. Its due to reports of burn injuries. The company says its Mini Plus Brewing Systems, with model number K10, can overheat and spray water during the brewing process. About 200 reports of hot liquid escaping from the product, including 90 reports of burn-related injuries have come to light. The recalled brewers have an ID number starting with “31” printed on the bottom. Consumers should call Keurig at 1-844-255-7886 or visit the website at www.miniplusbrewer.com for instructions on precautions and free repair kits.
