A new build in Bracebridge is bringing jobs, an economic boost and could attract more industry.

This is the response from Mayor Graydon Smith after touring the build for the new medical marijuana production facility on Keith Road. Smith says a production plant like this could act as a lightning rod attracting other industrial companies looking for somewhere to set up shop.

CEO of Muskoka Medical Marijuana David Grand says the facility is expected to create over 100 jobs to start out. He expects to have a portion of the new building ready to grow product by September 1st. Anyone interested in applying for work with this new company can inquire by emailing [email protected].
