An Etobicoke man is making his first court appearance facing charges related to the death of a child in Muskoka.
Tomorrow, 37-year-old David Sillars will be in the Bracebridge courthouse.
Sillars was arrested in April after an eight-year-old boy went over the falls on Muskoka River and later died in hospital.
He has been charged with impaired operation causing death.
According to court officials, Sillars has been released from police custody.
